Project “Continuation of Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) for Children of Kindergarten and first and second grade of primary schools”.

The project “Continuation of Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) for Children of Kindergarten and first and second grade of primary schools” is running in 26 municipalities in the four districts of Colcabamba, Acostambo, Daniel Hernandez and Acraquia, from January 2010 to December 2012, with financial help from “Terre de Hommes” an NGO from Switzerland.

In general the project was realized to create, together with the local teacher, a new form of teaching, always having in mind the universal development of our children, their language and culture as furthermore their social background.

The working mode is, apart from our workshops with local teachers, formed by one week acommpaniments, of the teachers, by our instructors, to help the teachers put in practice of what they have learned.

Therefore we are also working together with an NGO from Germany, called “Pro Humanus”, which is working in several parts of Peru, consisting of two teacher from the Waldorf Education and their coodinator.

From the govermental side were in contact with the school ministry of the region Tayacaja as with the local health projects, too.
