We work in the province Tayacaja, in the region of Huancavelica. Huancavelica is the poorest region of Peru and had been affected very badly during the civil war from 1980-1995. In Huancavelica 88% of the population lives in poverty, 74.4 % in extreme poverty. Chronic malnutrition is still one of the biggest problems of the region.
Below we present the main problems of the region and how we intend to resolve them:
We realize our projects in the districts of Colcabamba, Pampas, Acraquia, Daniel hernandez, Ahuaycha, Acostambo, Ñahuimpuquio and Pazos, which together count a population of about 60 000 inhabitants.
